Privacy policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

Postonova is a social content workspace operated by Aarubi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. It is currently a product preview used by Aarubi and a small number of invited accounts, and is not open for public sign-ups. Aarubi Ltd is the data controller for everything described here. Email info@aarubi.co.uk with any question about this policy or to exercise any of the rights below.

What we collect

Account details. The email address you sign in with. Postonova signs you in with a one-time link sent to that address, so we hold no password for you.

Content you create. Drafts, scripts, images, videos, schedules, approvals and the notes attached to them, together with a record of who changed what and when.

Connected social accounts. The channel names and the access credentials needed to publish on your behalf, held by our publishing provider rather than in your browser.

WhatsApp messages. If you use the optional WhatsApp bridge, we process your phone number and the text of the messages you exchange with Postonova, so that it can answer your questions and start the work you ask for. We hold the idea you sent, the production style you chose and the step the conversation reached. Nothing you send over WhatsApp is used for advertising, shared with anyone else, or used to contact you about anything other than the work you asked for.

Technical records. Ordinary server logs. We deliberately do not log the contents of your messages or any provider credential.

Why we use it

To sign you in, to hold and publish the content you approve, to tell you what is happening with work in progress, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models of our own.

Our lawful basis is the performance of our agreement with you for the parts you ask for, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and reliable for the rest.

Who else processes it

Postonova uses other companies to do specific jobs, each handling only what that job needs: our hosting provider, for the servers and database; Anthropic, for the AI that drafts and reviews content; ElevenLabs and HeyGen, for narration and presenter clips in videos; Cloudflare, for storing the media we generate; Upload-Post, for publishing to your social channels; Brevo, for transactional email; and Meta, if you choose to use the WhatsApp bridge. Each acts on our instructions under its own terms. Where any of them processes data outside the UK or EEA, that transfer relies on the safeguards in their own terms, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Content and account records are kept while the account is open and deleted on request. WhatsApp conversation state holds only the current step and the idea in hand, and is cleared when the conversation ends or is cancelled. Logs are short-lived and retained only as long as they are useful for diagnosing faults.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@aarubi.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Postonova is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
